U.S. Wind Creek plans to invest $190 mln in Pennsylvania casino

U.S. casino gaming and hospitality company Wind Creek Hospitality is acquiring casino and resort company Las Vegas Sands Corp.'s Pennsylvania casino, Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, for $1.3 billion.

Wind Creek Hospitality intends to infuse $190 million in the casino resort to construct a second hotel and a water park on the property.

The company expects to start construction as soon as the transaction is finalized later this year.

The sale was revealed in March last year and is still under review by state gambling regulators.
