U.S. internet exchange provider Equinix Inc. intends to build its fourth international business exchange data centre in Singapore with 116.6 million Singaporean dollars ($85.9 million) investment.
The new data center, called SG4, will be located at the East of Singapore in the Tai Seng Industrial Estate.
The facility will allocate interconnection and data centre services to support businesses with technology transformation and cloud adoption initiatives.
SG4 is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2019, will have more than 45,400 square feet colocation space and an initial capacity of 1,400 cabinets in the first phase.
