Varun Beverages Zimbabwe, part of Indian soft drinks maker Varun Beverages, will inject about $150 million to boost production and expand market share in the next five years.

Varun Beverages has increased its production capacity by 150 percent, having started with one production line and has invested $50 million so far.

With the investments, the company seeks to boost more beverages production lines to provide meet its consumer needs in Zimbabwe.

Moreso, Varun Beverages, which produces Pepsi products, also intends to build an operating plant in Bulawayo.
