Vietnamese state-owned investment fund State Capital Investment Corp (SCIC) and mobile network operator Viettel Group aim to raise 6.47 trillion dongs ($277 million) with the sale of their 68.8 percent stake in construction and engineering company Vietnam Construction and Import-Export JSC (Vinaconex).

SCIC will auction 254.9 million shares of Vinaconex on the Hanoi Stock Exchange on November 22 at a starting price of $0.19 per share.

Viettel will offer 94 million shares at the same auction. Vinaconex shares traded up 1 percent at $0.80 on Thursday.

SCIC said that domestic and foreign investors are eligible to bid for the shares.
