Le projet de fusion entre Linde et le groupe américain Praxair va créer un leader mondial des gaz industriels pour dépasser Air Liquide en France avec un chiffre d'affaires combiné de 28,7 milliards de dollars et 88 000 employés.
Après une période d'acceptation supplémentaire de deux semaines, Linde et Praxair auront 12 mois pour conclure la fusion.
