Mubadala, investisseur d'État à Abu Dhabi, a annoncé avoir réalisé de 15 à 16 investissements dans des entreprises technologiques dans le cadre d'un partenariat avec SoftBank Group of Japan.

Mubadala a engagé 15 milliards de dollars dans le fonds de capital-investissement de 93 milliards de dollars de SoftBank, le SoftBank Vision Fund, qui a également levé des fonds auprès du principal fonds souverain d'Arabie saoudite et d'autres investisseurs.

Mubadala a dit, il a fait 15 à 16 investissements différents, principalement centrés dans la Silicon Valley, ajoutant que les domaines d'investissement incluent l'intelligence artificielle et la biotechnologie.

Mubadala, qui a géré 465,5 milliards de dirhams (127 milliards de dollars) à la fin du mois de juin, a indiqué auparavant qu'elle pourrait inscrire son unité Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), l'un des plus grands producteurs d'aluminium au monde, l'année prochaine.
