Israeli real estate investment holding company Azrieli Group is buying Norwegian data center company Green Mountain for around 2.8 billion Israeli New Shekel ($849.2 million).
Under the transaction, Azrieli will buy 100 percent of Green Mountain from Norwegian real estate firm Smedvig.
The company added that the acquisition of Green Mountain is a key milestone in realizing its strategy for building international operations in the data center sector.
Earlier this year, Azrieli had purchased 50,000 square meters at the Haugaland Business Park in Gismarvik for a new data center.
