Swiss infrastructure investment firm SUSI Partners AG has bought a 34 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Queensland, Australia.

SUSI Partners will pay 30 million euros ($34.2 million) for the asset in Middlemount.

The facility is expected to generate enough power to supply some 24,000 homes.

The facility will expand SUSI’s solar portfolio to 165 MW and expect to add battery storage component to the solar farm upon its completion.
