Russian gold mining company Nordgold has received a 15-year mining permit for the Lefa mine in the Republic of Guinea.
The company has announced that it plans to infuse more than $360 million in the development of the mine.
Nordgold purchased the Lefa mine in 2010 and has already injected more than $1 billion in Guinea.
In 2017, Lefa's gold production increased 7 percent to 208,800 ounces.
