Chinese internet technology company NetEase is planning to infuse 100 million yuan (approximately $14.5 million) in remote learning program in Chengdu.

With this proposed investments, NetEase will set new strategies for its open courses segment as well as technology for equal access to education live-streaming project.

NetEase will include more curriculum courses for U.S.-based online learning platform K12, whether it be for charitable or commercial purposes.

In 2017, NetEase booked $7.8 billion in revenue.
