Danish engineering solutions company Danfoss A/S will extend its Indian plant to manufacture low voltage drives.

Danfoss said that it has started supplying power module solutions for an Indian automotive manufacturer to boost its production capacity.

With about 70 crore to 100 crore rupees ($9.8 million to $14.1 million) investment, Danfoss will make 120,000 units per annum of low voltage drives.

The company said that the low voltage drives will be used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning machines.
