Automotive giant Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) intends to infuse $355 million in its Windsor Assembly Plant, which will produce Chrysler Pacifica minivan.

FCA is expected to introduce an all-wheel version of the Pacifica and revive the Voyager nameplate as a new lower-cost minivan to replace the Caravan.

The company also announced last month that it plans to start constructing a new $1.6 billion assembly plant in Detroit, U.S.

The proposed assembly plant was part of the company’s $4.5 billion commitment announcement in five Southeast Michigan plants in late February.
