German automotive company Continental plans to inject approximately 30 million euros ($34.2 million) to build a new manufacturing plant at Talegaon in Pune.
The facility, which will begin production by early 2020, will be utilised for powertrain business.
The new line will produce products such as engine management systems, sensors and actuators as well as fuel and exhaust management components, for passenger cars, two-wheelers and commercial vehicles.
Recently, Continental announced an additional research and development facility in its existing automotive plant at Gurugram.
