Gibraltar-based online gaming operator and platform provider 888 Holdings PLC has bought the sports betting platform of Irish online sports betting company BetBright for 15 million pounds ($19.7 million).
The sports betting assets will be purchased from BetBright's owners Dedsert Ltd. and Dedsert (Ireland) Ltd.
888 Holdings said that the integration of BetBright's sportsbook will give 888 control over its product development across four online betting verticals.
Once the merger is finalized, 888 Holdings will begin a roll-out of its own sportsbook product in phases.
