Indian pharmaceutical company Ipca Laboratories has signed an agreement to buy peer Ramdev Chemicals Pvt. Ltd.
Under the agreement, Ipca Laboratories will pay as much as 108.5 crore rupees ($16 million) to acquire Ramdev Chemical.
The transaction will help Ipca expand its active pharmaceutical ingredients business.
Annually, Ipca Laboratories generates approximately $501 million in revenue.
