Indian online video streaming platform Novi Digital Entertainment has secured 1,066 crore rupees ($154.6 million) in a funding round.
The investments came from Novi Digital’s parent companies, including Star India, which invested about $573.8 million and the other was from Star U.S Holdings.
With the support, Novi Digital Entertainment will leverage its cricket fans as well as bring original content on its platform, Hotstar.
In August 2018, Novi Digital Entertainment also received $355.8 million from Star India at a valuation of $265 million.
