EDP, a Portuguese energy company, has announced that its strategic update for 2019 to 2022 will include more infusion in renewables.
The company is expected to infuse up to 7 billion euros ($7.9 billion) in new renewable energy projects.
The project will include commitments in storage, solar, off-grid and hybrid wind-solar projects.
Additionally, EDP is seeking to divest its conventional generation assets.
