Singaporean early-stage venture capital firm Golden Gate Ventures has collaborated with South Korea’s (SK) Hanwha Asset Management to inject together in Southeast Asian startups.

The firms will invest in areas such as marketplaces and financial inclusion technologies.

Golden Gate and Hanwha Asset are seeking to secure around $200 million for their fund.

Golden Gate Ventures said in a statement that the firms will commit in startups at the Series B stage, with sizes typically ranging from $15 million to $30 million.
