UAE healthcare services provider Aster DM Healthcare intends to commit about 750 crore rupees ($108 million) in its capacity expansion project in India.

As part of the expansion plan, Aster DM will add 1,500 beds in four new hospitals that it plans to open in India by the end of March 2022.

The company, which plans to open pathology laboratories and pharmacies in India, said that the new multi-speciality hospitals will come up at Bengaluru, Chennai, Kannur and Thiruvananthapuram.

Aster DM Healthcare also said that it will be investing $36 million for the expansion of its existing facilities and for the acquisition of equipment.
