New York-based Comtech Telecommunications Corp. has agreed to purchase Canadian communications equipment company Solacom Technologies Inc.
Under the terms of the deal, Comtech Telecommunications will pay about $33 million.
With this acquisition, Comtech will enhance its strategy of supporting solutions offerings, particularly with respect to next generation 911 capabilities.
The closing of the transaction is expected to occur during the fiscal quarter ending April 30, 2019 and the deal is subject to customary closing conditions.
