New York-based venture capital and private equity firm Insight Partners has purchased a controlling stake in Boston-based real-time cyber threat intelligence solutions provider Recorded Future.
Insight Partners bought the stake in Recorded Future through a $780 million cash transaction.
Recorded Future said that the move lays the foundation for the company to take its products and software to the next level to best serve its clients.
With the deal, Recorded Future now works with more than 400 clients, including Bank of America, Target and SC Johnson.
