U.S.-based insulation, roofing materials, and engineered products maker Johns Manville, the unit of automotive to media company Berkshire Hathaway, will invest $50 million in its facility in Defiance County, Ohio.

With the expansion plans, Johns Manville intends to increase production capacity at its facility with the addition of two pipe insulation manufacturing lines.

The new facility will increase employment opportunities to 24 jobs in areas such as construction.

Johns Manville said that construction will begin next year with its first line to be operational in 2020.
