U.S.-based Point, a homeownership investment company, has raised $22 million in a Series B funding round.

Point intends to use the new capital to finance its extension into over 30 states by the end of 2020 and aid in the company's goal to finance over 1,000 homeowners in the coming year.

The round was led by Prudential Financial and DAG Ventures with participation from existing backers that include Andreessen Horowitz, Ribbit Capital and Bloomberg Beta.

Recently, the company nabbed $100 million in platform capital from U.S. Kingsbridge Wealth Management.
