U.S.-based technology company Inmar announced that the company has acquired coupon and digital rebate publishing platform You Technology (YouTech).
The seller, U.S. retailing company Kroger, divested You Technology for about $565 million, including $400 million of cash consideration that will be received upon closing.
Kroger, which will use the net funds to repay its debt, will still utilize the platform’s digital coupon services as part of the deal.
The new partnership will enable Inmar and YouTech to bring innovation and new products to market faster to better compete in the retail space and accelerate innovation to deliver a more cost-effective and enhanced product set including better tools.
