U.S.-based data centre solutions company Vantage Data Centers has secured $675 million in funding from new and existing investors.

With the new funds, Vantage Data Centers will construct the first data centre of its second campus in Santa Clara, California and also create a new 160-megawatt data centre campus in Phoenix.

The company said that part of the net proceeds will be used to fund the 4Degrees Colocation acquisition.

Moreso, Vantage Data will also build a new 30 megawatts data centre campus in Northern Virginia with five planned multi-story facilities expected to be constructed on site.
